Privacy Choices
Your options for managing data in the 6 Degrees app.
This page explains the privacy choices available to you when using the 6 Degrees mobile app.
No Accounts
6 Degrees does not have user accounts. There is no sign-in, no profile, and no account to manage or delete. Because there are no accounts, there is no account-deletion feature.
Local Data Storage
Your personal game statistics — including streaks, completion times, guess statistics, and your local top-ten results — are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to or stored on Northvale Pixel Labs servers.
Deleting Your Local Data
You can remove all locally stored game data at any time by:
- Uninstalling the app from your device
- Clearing the app's data through your device settings
Warning: This will permanently remove your game progress and statistics. This action cannot be undone, and Northvale Pixel Labs cannot restore locally stored data because it is not backed up to our servers.
Analytics
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage analytics. This includes information such as app interactions, app version, device and operating-system information, and automatically generated identifiers. The actual words you guess are never sent to analytics.
You may be able to limit analytics data collection through your device's privacy settings or by resetting or limiting the advertising identifier on your device. See your device's settings for available options.
